The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) was honored to receive a student delegation from the China Institute of America on August 15, as part of the "Young Scholar Chinese Bridge 2026 University Program." The program brought students from 10 different American universities and high schools to China for a 17-day immersive language and cultural program, with CUSEF hosting the group for the last leg of their journey.
During their four-day visit to Hong Kong, CUSEF organized site visits to the Hong Kong Monetary Authority Information Centre, Mei Ho House in Sham Shui Po, the Hong Kong Maritime Museum, the M+ Museum at the West Kowloon Cultural District.
Prior to arriving in Hong Kong, the students began their journey in mainland China, studying Chinese language in Beijing and connecting with local students before traveling to the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region for further cultural exchange. Their final stop in Hong Kong offered another perspective on China, giving the group an opportunity to gain a closer look at Hong Kong’s history, culture, economy, and unique role as a bridge between China and the wider world.
