  • Russia and China Say There is “No Limit” to Their Friendship | Following a recent meeting between President Xi and Russian President Putin, the two countries released a joint statement outlining their strengthening relationship and agreed to support mutual national interests going forward. Russia and China do not have a formal alliance, but western observers argue that their "pact" used anti-democratic and anti-western rhetoric.
  • U.S. Adds 33 Chinese Entities to "Unverified List" | The U.S. Commerce Department is requiring U.S. exports to go through additional steps when shipping goods to 33 entities that are unable to be verified as legitimate. These entities include Chinese universities, listed companies, and manufacturers. This decision comes after a statement by the FBI claiming China to be the biggest threat to U.S. innovation, claims which China says are groundless.
