CUSEF Hosts SIIS and Hong Kong NGO Leaders for Roundtable on Global Cooperation

The China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) welcomed a four-expert delegation from the Shanghai Institutes for International Studies (SIIS) to the Hong Kong office on May 21 for a roundtable discussion.

The roundtable brought together the SIIS delegation and prominent leaders from Hong Kong-based non-governmental organizations (NGOs) to examine the strategic role and practical experiences of Hong Kong NGOs operating in a shifting global landscape. Participants focused on how local organizations can navigate emerging global challenges while leveraging Hong Kong’s distinct advantages to foster robust people-to-people ties.

Founded in 1960, SIIS is a leading think tank in China, renowned for its research on international studies and China’s foreign policy.
