The First Harvard-Columbia World Development Forum

The first Harvard-Columbia World Development Forum, supported by the China- United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF), held its opening ceremony on April 5th, 2024, at Harvard Memorial Church in the United States.

The Harvard-Columbia World Development Forum is a collaborative initiative between students from Harvard Kennedy School (HKS), Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (Columbia SIPA) and Harvard Business School (HBS), convened more than 50 leaders in academia, business, and politics to explore the path towards sustainable development in the face of global challenges.

The theme of the 2024 World Development Forum is "The Inclusive Path for the Shared Future," with a focus on fostering dialogue and collaboration for sustainable development and a fairer world.

The mission of the World Development Forum is to create a platform for diverse perspectives to come together and explore innovative solutions for global development.
