  • Meng Wanzhou Returning Home | The Huawei CFO has returned to China after three years of a court battle that could cause her extradition to the U.S. By the same turn, Michael Kovrig and Michael Spavor, the two Canadians who were arrested in China soon after Meng's detention, were released and are back in Canada. These moves took out a bone from the throat of the troubling relations among China, Canada, and the U.S.
  • Quad Meeting Was A Form of Political Posturing | Commentators scrutinized the Quad Leaders' Summit in Washington on September 24. They acknowledge that the meeting was a form of political posturing that will fail to implement actual change.
  • U.S. Nuclear Proliferation in the Asia-Pacific Region | Experts worry that the U.S. will become increasingly involved in the Asia-Pacific region and recruit countries to take part in its nuclear proliferation strategy. This could be detrimental for peace and security in the region, which China has been trying to preserve.
