  • CCP Anniversary | China's ruling party was the topic of many commentaries over the last two weeks as the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) celebrated its 100th anniversary on July 1. While some are skeptical about how sustainable the Chinese political system is, many acknowledge the CCP’s great achievements and are positive about its future for its continuous self-reflection and self-reinvention.
  • China-France-Germany Video Summit | At a recent summit with Chinese President Xi Jinping, French President Emmanuel Macron and German Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomed cooperation with China and discussed ways to bolster ties with the country. Some see this as a direct result of the ineffective U.S. zero-sum game strategy.
  • America's Political Image | U.S. aggression and lack of multilateral cooperation with partners have harmed the country throughout the years, scholars argue. Some agree that the U.S. will need to reverse the damage and work to address challenges at home, rather than continue to seek global primacy.
