China-U.S. Graduate Students Joint Research Project

Academic exchanges and cooperation between Chinese and American teachers and students are vital to deepen understanding between two countries and minimize misunderstanding. On November 23rd 2021, CUSEF hosted the first meeting between Dr. Raymond Terry, Director of the SCHP Office of Global Health Initiatives at Morgan State University and Professor Xie Tao, Dean of the School of International Relations and Diplomacy at Beijing Foreign Studies University, along with a total of 10 graduate students, 5 from each university. The students will conduct a 6-month Joint Research paper on the topic of ‘Global Health’.

During this meeting, Professor Xie and Dr. Terry shared their insights on the topic and highlighted the special significance and overall expectations of the project. Followed by student-led in-depth discussions and exchanges on the sub-topics and arrangements.
