World Bank Expects Deceleration of Growth through 2023
The World Bank forecasts that the global economy will grow by 4.1 percent this year and 3.2 percent in 2023, compared with 5.5 percent in 2021. The organization cites COVID-19 variants, inflation, debt, and inequality as factors adding to uncertainties.
China-GCC Meetings
Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi met with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary-General in China’s eastern city Wuxi on Tuesday. The meeting will be followed by visits of Turkish and Iranian foreign ministers to China later this week.
