High-Level Dialogues aim at building trust through ongoing dialogues and open interaction. Believing understanding and trust are the cornerstones of success for the world’s most important bilateral relations, the Foundation focuses much of its programming on creating opportunities for a broad range of high-level delegations of academics, specialists, and community leaders from each country to meet and engage in deep and open conversations on key issues of mutual importance.

Cusef sponsored the seventh meeting of the U.S. – China Sanya Initiative which was held from July 6 to 9, 2016.

This year, CUSEF invited 12 delegates from CAP and other government officials to a three day visit to Beijing.

Collaborating with the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), CUSEF cohosted a China Forum titled “China’s New Economic Plans: Implications for China, Asia, and the Global Economy”.

The U.S.- China Forum 2015, co-organized by the China-United States Exchange Foundation, the University of Chicago Office of Global Engagement, the Energy Policy Institute at the University of Chicago (EPIC) and the Paulson Institute was held on 19 May, 2015 at the University of Chicago. This year’s program was focused on the climate change challenge and on the U.S.-China relations.
