Ambassador He Yafei speaks on US-China relations at NYU, OSU and UT Austin

Building on the success of the 2016 Forum, CUSEF co-organized the second China Forum with New York University (NYU) at the NYU School of Law on 13th November, 2017. CUSEF invited Ambassador He Yafei, former Vice Minister of the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the keynote speaker this year. Ambassador He spoke on a variety of foreign policy issues surrounding the future of China-US relations on the global stage and also engaged in a dialogue with Vice Chancellor of NYU Shanghai, Prof. Jeffery Lehman and former United States ambassador to China, Ambassador Clark T. Randt. The Forum attracted around 200 NYU students, faculty and the wider community to attend.

Meanwhile, for the first time, our Foundation also partnered up with Ohio State University (OSU) and the China Public Policy Centre (CPPC) at the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin) to co-host the inaugural US-China Forum at their respective campuses on 15th and 16th November 2017.
