Exchange programs provide influential Americans with first-hand experience of the conditions, challenges, and opportunities facing China. With an aim to improve trust between high-level thought leaders from both the U.S. and China, CUSEF organizes numerous of delegations, including former U.S. Senators, Congressional Black Cacus (CBC) members and their staffers, local and state officials and legislators, and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR), to deepen these organizations’ understanding of China and enhance strategic cooperation.

CUSEF will organize 3 delegations of US mainstream media journalists to visit China in 2014. Journalists from both national and regional media outlets will be invited.

February 24, 2014

CUSEF co-hosted a delegation of National Urban League community leaders to visit China to enhance communication and other opportunities between China and the United States.

CUSEF supported a delegation of U.S. Secretaries of State visit to China in December 8th to 15th, 2013, where they visited Beijing, Chengdu, and Shanghai.

CUSEF organized 3 groups of journalists from US mainstream media to visit China in 2013. A wide variety of journalists were invited, including national media journalists, regional media journalists, and journalists that focused on congressional affairs.

CUSEF coordinated a visit by four former U.S. Senators to visit Beijing, Kunming, and Shanghai in partnership with the China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC) and BLJ Worldwide.
