Exchange programs provide influential Americans with first-hand experience of the conditions, challenges, and opportunities facing China. With an aim to improve trust between high-level thought leaders from both the U.S. and China, CUSEF organizes numerous of delegations, including former U.S. Senators, Congressional Black Cacus (CBC) members and their staffers, local and state officials and legislators, and the National Committee on U.S.-China Relations (NCUSCR), to deepen these organizations’ understanding of China and enhance strategic cooperation.

November 2, 2018

From October 17th to 26th, the delegates traveled to Beijing, Qingdao, Yantai and Chengdu, to better understand the political and economic relations between China and the United States. They also learnt about the prominent progress made by China in the 40 years of reform and opening up.

In partnership with the Chinese People’s Association with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), China-United States Exchange Foundation (CUSEF) hosted a group of 5 US State and Local Officials delegation visiting Beijing, Guangzhou and Shanghai from August 4th to 14th, 2018.

In collaboration with the Chinese People’s Institute of Foreign Affairs, a 7-member American journalist group visited Beijing, Shanghai and Hangzhou from June 7 to 16, 2018.

April 20, 2018

Partnering with China Association for International Friendly Contact (CAIFC), the five-member delegation of former US Congressmen visited China from April 7th to 15th.

In collaboration with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, CUSEF successfully organized the 4th Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) Leadership Delegation to China from December 3 to 9, 2017.
