Harvard Kennedy School China Study Group Visit 2017

 

On May 14-23, 2017, in collaboration with the Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries (CPAFFC), CUSEF sponsored and organized a group of Harvard Kennedy School graduate students to visit China to better understand the country’s opportunities and challenges, and to appreciate the importance of US-China relationships.

During the 10-day visit, the delegates visited Beijing, Chengdu and Shanghai to engage in substantive meetings, and visit historical and cultural sites. Some of the highlights included the meeting with the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Chinese Ministry of Commerce, Chinese Ministry of Education, and a visit to Sichuan University and Southwest Jiaotong University where they were able to interact with the Chinese students and to establish friendship.
