Since 2008, the China-U.S. Exchange Foundation has sponsored over 40 U.S. Scholars to visit China, and over 20 Chinese scholars to visit the U.S., as part of an ongoing exchange organized by the School of International Studies (SIS) of Peking University and the Shanghai Institute for International Studies (SIIS). These scholars have conducted research on different aspects concerning Sino-U.S. diplomatic relations. Prominent scholars who have participated in the exchange include Professor Anne-Marie Slaughter of the Woodrow Wilson School at Princeton University, Professor David Shambaugh of the Elliott School at George Washington University and more.
